I am an Assistant Professor in the Ethics Institute at Utrecht University.

Before starting in Utrecht, I was a postdoctoral researcher in philosophy at Stockholm University, where I also earned my PhD in June 2022. My PhD work was supervised by Helen Frowe and Gunnar Björnsson, and based out of the Stockholm Centre for the Ethics of War and Peace.

Prior to the PhD, I obtained a BPhil in Philosophy from the University of Oxford (Balliol College), and a BA in Philosophy and BA in History from Utrecht University. In the Spring of 2020, I was a Visiting Research Scholar at the University of Texas at Austin.

My research is primarily in moral philosophy, and secondarily in social/political philosophy and moral psychology. I am currently writing about the ethics of mind, personal relationships, moral address, reactive attitudes, harming and rescuing, and moral equality and partiality (see 'Research').
